HyperX Fury

HyperX Fury 16GB

This stick of memory is good for a business motherboard. When trying to find one that is compatible with my motherboard I found that this one did the job very well. It does what I need it to do as well as having enough extra stuff that just makes it a perfect fit.

What it has is an Aluminum heat spreader so it can spread out the heat so it doesn’t heat up as fast as some other memory might. It is an Intel XMP 2.0 with automatic overclocking as well as it optimized for intel 200 series and X99. Supports AMD X370/ B350/ A320; it is 100% factory tested at speed and free technical support but has no fan included.

The specs for this memory is:

Capacity: 16GB

Type: 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM

Speed: DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300)

CAS Latency: 16

Voltage: 1.20V

ECC: No

Buffered/Registered: Unbuffered

With a price of $93.99, it is not a bad price for what you are getting for a business motherboard. Overall I think that this is a very good memory for what I need it to do.

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX (DDR4 8GB)

This is a great memory that can fit your needs whether you are a gamer on a budget or using it on a home computer. This ram has an anodized aluminum heat spreader to help keep the RAM cool. Along with heat spreaders, there are decent specs of the memory itself.

Specs:

8GB

Speed of 2666

Single Channel

Generation DDR4

1.20V

CL of 16

This memory also has a limited lifetime warranty. As well as, being non-ECC and non-parity. If you are in the market for decent memory with a decent price this should be in your top five for a home pc. However, there is also a decent price for this RAM. Coming in at around $50 on Newegg. Which, makes it highly recommendable to anyone in the market for similar memory.

HyperX 32GB 2666 Predator Review

Overall, HyperX is a very consistent brand, they make keyboards, headsets, and ram. Personally, I have one of the headsets and two sticks of RAM. The RAM I have is the Predator 32GB 2666. There is consistent quality throughout all of their products, I am very impressed by everything that they have made. The RAM, having the following specs:

Non-Ecc

Dual Channel

CAS Latency: 13

Voltage: 1.35

works very well. The individual sticks are each 16GB, which add up to 32 for 2. Here is a picture:

HyperX Predator Black 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL13 DIMM (Kit of 2) XMP (HX426C13PB3K2/32) at Amazon.com

This RAM makes my PC run very smoothly, just make sure your motherboard has the proper specs to support the RAM!

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB)

CORSAIR Vengeance

I have been working on building a PC. The PC I wanted to build is for my home, to do little tasks on like look things up and maybe watching a video every once in a while. I am not looking for this to be a gamer or anything. Saying this I still wanted a nice stick of RAM.

I purchased the Corsair Vengeance LPX. The one I bought consists of two sticks of 4GB RAM so it is dual channel.  These sticks of RAM are generation DDR4. This fit into my motherboard great it is the speed of 2666MHz. The RAM is non-ECC and the CAS Latency is 16. It also doesn’t take an unfair amount of voltage it only takes 1.20V.

This is such a good choice because it is a fast stick of RAM that may be too much for what I want to use my PC for. However I really think it is worth the money. If you buy it from newegg.com it would be $52.99. However if you go the the manufactures website it was $59.99.  These are defiantly worth the price they are put at. I believe you would be extremely happy with your purchase of the Corsair Vengeance.

Reviews from Newegg

I would for sure agree with the 87% of the people that loved these sticks of ram from Newegg and gave it a 4 egg rating or higher.

Intel Core i9-10900K

While there are many great CPUs for gaming there are a few that always stand out. One of which is the Intel Core i9-10900K. A CPU that is great for gaming and is also very reliable.  This CPU has very good specs for a very good price. (Link to website below)

CPU Specifications:

CPU Clockspeed:3.7 GHz –> 5.30 GHz (Max Turbo)

CPU Cache: 20 MB (L3)

CPU Socket Type: LGA 1200

CPU Processors: 10 Core, 20 Threads

CPU Wattage Cost: 125W

This amazing processor also is rated very well by Passmark. It is placed second amongst PassMarks top 10 Common Desktop CPUs.  Having a good score from  PassMark will help those in the market for a new  CPU  find what would be a top-notch CPU for their setup. Whether it be that they are looking for the best CPU out there. Or simply one that is great for the money, PassMark is a great place to start.

Along with the rating and specs of the CPU, there is the cost. This is arguably the second most important thing after the performance.

As stated earlier it is a great CPU at a Great price. For nearly 1,000 dollars less you are getting a similar experience to the Ryzen Threadripper 3960x. In conclusion, this is a CPU i’m sure would suit the needs of whoever needs it for gaming and those who use it as a casual business CPU. So, I recommend this CPU.

AMD Ryzen 1600

Amazon.com: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler (YD1600BBAEBOX): Computers & Accessories

This CPU is more of an all around type of CPU. It is not very expensive, and it has the minimum requirements for being a gamer CPU. However, I believe that it would be best used as a business CPU. It is not very expensive, and it has fairly good specs for a business CPU.

Specs:
Clock Speed: 3.2GHz- Max Turbo 3.6GHz
CPU L1 Cache: 576KB
CPU L2 Cache: 3MB
CPU L3 Cache: 16MB
Socket Type: AM4
6 Cores 12 Threads
CPU rating on passmark: 10,401
$201 (Newegg)

Overall, my review for this CPU would be a 9/10. It has exceptional value for the price it is listed at, but the one flaw I found with it is that it is an older CPU, so there are likely better CPU’s that you could buy for this price. Installation and everything went on without a hitch. The CPU runs great, and everything feels smooth. Not a lot of problems with the CPU, it is a reliable choice, and I would definitely recommend it.

Intel Core i3-6100

The i3 6100 CPU

I have been searching for a CPU to go into my motherboard. I was looking for something that would be good to have at home not to being playing games or having lots of different things going on all at once. My plans for this PC is to maybe watch some videos and to look up information or other low profile stuff.

The CPU i3-6100 is a relativity good CPU. Your motherboard must be equipped with a CPU socket LGA 1151, this socket will only except Intel CPUs. The i3-6100 is not what I would recommend for a gamer PC, it will be unable to move as fast as other CPUs.

This CPU is equipped with 2/4 cores/threads. The clock speed is 3.70GHz and has 3 MB of L3 cache.

A good website I used as a tool to help me find what CPU I wanted was PassMark. This website takes lots of different CPUs and will rank them and also you will be able to compare them. PassMark helped me make this decision, it gave the i3-6100 a rank of 4152. When I talked to other educated people they let me know that a rank of about 5000 for a home computer would make me happy.

I also looked at reviews on other websites to be sure I will be happy with this CPU. On Newegg their were lots of reviews and lots of them telling me that I will be happy with this choice.

Intel CPU for a Business Motherboard

Intel CPU Core i3-10300

I just got this 10th Gen Core i3 CPU to fit into my B460 Steel Legend motherboard CPU socket; with the type as an LGA 1200. I wanted a CPU that could go into my business motherboard to get my everyday work done, which I was very pleased with this pairing.

The cost of the CPU on Newegg that I got it at was $164.61 with a 3-year Warranty. It is a pretty good CPU for what I am trying to do with it. As a note for what motherboard you are trying to get the CPU has to match with the CPU socket type so Intel or AMD

The Core i3 was a very good CPU for my business motherboard. It makes my motherboard work more smoothly and everything is faster.  As an Intel CPU socket type, you will need to have an Intel CPU for that socket type you are in need of.

This CPU has a clock speed of 3.7 GHz; with cache-L3 with 8MB. The number of core processors is a Quad- Core with 8 threads.

In Passmark you can find the rating of this CPU right now as 9322 but this can change over time.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960x CPU review

Behold, this CPU is one of the best selling, yet cost-effective CPUs on the market currently. Boasting 24 cores and 48 threads, and over 140MB of CPU cache spread across L1, L2, and L3 cache, you definitely get the power for what you put in

Although it does take a hefty amount of power from your PSU (280W to be exact) to run this powerhouse, It can run some of the top GPUS with ease. also goes well with a water-cooling system, which is recommended if you plan on playing for extended durations of time.

“All good, running great in all scenarios so far! I do not have a single complaint, Runs AutoCAD like a beast!! And all other things I throw at it with buttery smoothness, it’s beautiful! Not overclocked running great with H115i. 64GB DDR4 3600 cl16. Zenith II Extreme Mobo.”
