Samsung 980 Pro 2TB M.2 SSD

The Samsung 980 Pro 2TB M.2 is a great SSD for gaming. This M.2 reads at 7,000MBs per second and writes at around 5,100MBs per second, which is pretty good for speeds, but the drive will wear out faster. The 980 Pro has 2TB of storage which is perfect for about any gamer. With 2TB multiple big-sized games can be downloaded on the drive, with room for updates. The 980 Pro supports PCIe 4.0, which is important for having a motherboard that will work with the 980 Pro.  The 980 Pro is selling for around $169.99 as of 3/19/24.

In conclusion, the 980 Pro is a perfect M.2 SSD for gamers. The 980 Pro has fast read and write speeds which gamers need. With 2TB of storage, this M.2 is perfect for anything a gamer will need to put on a drive.

Neo Forza 2TB MLC NVMe 1.4 PCIe SSD Review

I recently purchased this SSD for my gaming rig. This has been a really good and reliable SSD. The motherboard for this rig is the MSI Mag B50 Tomahawk. This is a 2TB M.2 PCIe SSD from the company Neo Forza. I got it because it has many qualities of a good SSD. As an example, this M.2 is about 2 cents per byte. This SSD is currently 134.99 on Newegg.  It’s currently rated 4.6 out of 5 eggs on Newegg

.

Many of the reviews have pointed out how it’s really fast but may not be as fast as advertised. There is also the fact that it’s MLC which means it’s cheaper and will last longer than a TLC or QLC.  It may not be as fast as an SLC but this is also very cost-efficient.  I think this SSD would be a good investment for your gaming system. It may be an upgrade to the current storage devices you use. Some of the reviews also talk about how you can use all 2TBs of this drive and it’s actually 2TBs. Here is a list with some of the specs of this SSD.

As you can see in the photo the MTBF is 2 million hours, That’s relatively 228 years now that’s a long time.  With a max sequential read of 7000MBps and a max sequential write of 6850MBps, this seems to be a pretty good drive. I would personally recommend this drive and I would suggest that you purchase this SSD for your gaming rig.

SAMSUNG 870 EVO Series 2.5

I have had no problem with this Samsung SSD. It has worked with my motherboard and it’s only 64.99.  Which is a good deal for what you get it is 250 GB. This is also good for the price when I put this on my computer. It was cheaper and I’ve had it for a month now and I have no problems with it. And I can tell a big difference in it from the old traditional spinny drive I had I would strongly recommend this.

Samsung 980 Review

This Solid State Drive is pretty good for the cost. This SSD only costs $50.65 for 250 GB which means that each GB cost just a few cents. In addition, this SSD will work in most Motherboards you try it in. After trying this in my PC for a few weeks I can say it was worth all $50. When starting applications I noticed that they were loading a lot faster than when I wasn’t using the SSD.Specifications

  • Transfer Rate: 3,500 MB/s
  • MTBF: 1.5 million hours

WD_BLACK SN850X Review

The WD_BLACK SN850X is the best Hard Drive that I have ever had. WD_BLACK SN850X is currently the 16th Best Seller Ranking in Internal SSDS on the market today. If you have an ASUS Prime X670-P Compatible motherboard, it is the best Hard Drive for you! It is currently listed for $99.99 on Newegg and has excellent reviews from other users, with 4.8 out of 5 eggs by all reviewers.

The specifications of the Hard Drives are impressive. The most important of the specs are:

    • Brand Western Digital
      Series BLACK SN850X NVMe
      Model WDS100T2X0E
Device Type Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
      Used For Consumer
  • Detail
    • Form Factor M.2 2280

Newegg ratings of this Hard Drive are where it is rated highest among Internal SSDs. With a capacity of 1TB and the Interface PCI-Express, 4.0 x4, this Hard Drive will not disappoint any avid person. It does show Form Factor is M.2, so use caution if you are attempting to use it with other Hard Drives.

While there are other faster SSD for ASUS Prime X670-P DDR5, 3xM.2 Slots, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, USB4 Header, and 2.5Gb Ethernet Motherboard. If you currently have a 1TB, this is your best choice for a quality upgrade. The Form Factor rating is superior to many options listed above and is the most critical number for anyone. Game on!

Team Group T-FORCE CARDEA Solid State Hard Drive Review

I use this solid state drive in my home PC. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s fast enough and it operates well.  This drive boots up fast with the Windows operating system. If you would be interested in purchasing this solid state drive I would recommend it for a home PC, but would not recommend for a business or gamer. Generally you want something higher quality for that particular use. The T-FORCE CARDEA costs $23.99.

SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 2280

I recently bought the SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 2280 SSD drive for my gaming motherboard. I purchased it from Newegg for $95.99. The SSD drive works very well for my motherboard and it has 4.8/5 eggs on Newegg. It is 1TB, has a PCIe connection type, is an MLC drive, and has a 5-year warranty from Samsung.

I definitely would recommend it for others to get. As long as it works for the motherboard of your choosing, I feel it would work great for what it was bought for.

The WD101FZBX is a high-performance hard drive manufactured by Western Digital, a well-respected name in the storage industry. This hard drive boasts a capacity of 10TB, making it an ideal option for users who need to store large amounts of data, such as gamers, content creators, and professionals who work with large files.

One of the key features of the WD101FZBX is its 7200 RPM spin speed, which ensures fast data transfer rates and quick access to files. It also has a large 256MB cache, which further enhances its speed and responsiveness. The drive uses the SATA III 6Gbps interface, which is the latest and fastest standard for hard drive connectivity.

The WD101FZBX uses Western Digital’s advanced technology, including the HelioSeal technology, which provides an airtight seal to prevent air from entering the drive, ensuring that the disk components remain free from dust, debris, and other contaminants that can cause damage to the drive.

The drive has a mean time between failure (MTBF) rating of 2.5 million hours, which is quite impressive and offers excellent reliability for long-term use. The WD101FZBX is also compatible with various operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux.

In terms of pricing, the WD101FZBX is a bit more expensive than some of its competitors in the 10TB category. Overall, the WD101FZBX is an excellent choice for users who require a high-capacity hard drive with fast transfer speeds, high reliability, and advanced technology features.  The drive is currently $257.82 on NewEgg and is 4-star rated by > 2500 buyers.

SAMSUNG 870 EVO

SAMSUNG 870 EVO

The Samsung 870 EVO is not a good gaming hard drive. It could not keep up with any gaming that you might want to do. Luckily I am just wanting to use this in a home PC. I do not need a lot of storage or it to be overly fast. This Solid State Drive is a 250GB and connects with a STATA III cable. This SSD is a TLC so it will not last the longest however for what the price it is worth it.

The read/write Speeds can get up to 560 MB/s for the read speeds and the write speeds are around 530 MB/s. This drive would be able to last about 1.5 Million hours is what the Samsung website states.

This SSD is worth the price it is being sold at. On Newegg.com it is being sold at $39.99. It is also this same price on the Samsung website.  I would give this SSD a 5 eggs out of 5 like the other 90% of people that have reviewed this SSD.
