For those on a tight budget, the G6900 offers great value. It’s perfect for a simple work or school computer. However, if you need more power for demanding programs, you’ll want to consider a higher-end option.

AMD Ryzen 5 8400F Review

If you don’t know anything about computers, you’d think over a hundred dollars was expensive for a CPU. You’d be wrong, considering most gamers spend $200-$250 on a singular CPU. However, getting a good deal on something doesn’t always constitute buying it. So, should you buy the  AMD Ryzen 5 8400F? I’d argue, yes!

So, why should you consider buying it? It’s an excellent value for its price of $149, with it rating the third highest on CPUBenchmark’s CPU value board for that price range. It has a benchmark rating of 163.05. While it may not be the best for high-end gaming, it’s a perfect CPU for home use and hobby gamers. It has no onboard graphics, but I believe that’s for the best.

Now, how about my experience with it? It was way better than what nerds on Reddit say the CPU is like. It’s lack of onboard graphics may be bad for those without a graphics card, but I tested it out with a high end one. Goodness, it was perfect. Call me a glazer all you want, I loved it. My only issue is it’s low cache, but that’s to be expected with the price. It’s the perfect CPU if you’re on a budget like me, and don’t wanna buy a Ryzen 5 7500f off of AliExpress.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Review

The Intel Ultra 9 285K works hard like many of us do. While it is pricey, sitting at a cool $599.99, when it comes to high-end processes, none can compare. The Ultra 9 has 24 total cores, 8 performance, and 16 Efficient. It also boasts 24 threads to complement these cores. The 36MB cache also lends well to its high performance.

While its work and all-around performance are fantastic, it falls short compared to its predecessors and rivals in gaming. It still boasts high performance on lower-end setups but is worse off than any i9 series processor when it comes to gaming.  This isn’t to say that the CPU is bad when it comes to gaming, it simply just doesn’t give that extra boost and has a lesser focus on gaming compared to former CPU’s. Techpowerup has a further analysis on its specific functions and its make.

User feedback highlights these qualities.  Many buyers are happy with its overall performance and its effectiveness at processor-heavy tasks but come away disappointed in its gaming functionality, especially since it is advertised as a high-end gaming CPU.  Many customers recommend it, with reviews being mostly in the 5-star region, with about 10% putting a 1-star. Most of these 1-star reviews come from people whose CPU was damaged when delivered, or it simply didn’t do what they thought it should have done.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. It performs very well in my own tests, and even if it isn’t up to scratch when it comes to its gaming functions, it will still perform better than most cheaper options. It’s high suitability for productive tasks makes me give it a 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Intel Core i9-13900KS

The Intel Core i9- 13900KS is the 2nd fastest rated LGA 1700 on the market today. I would recommend the Intel Core i9- 13900KS if you have a compatible LGA 1700 12th/13th gen motherboard. This processor is currently listed for $899.00 on Newegg, this CPU has amazing reviews from over 900 different users.

The specs on this CPU are really amazing. The specs that are the most important include:

  • Total Cores 24
  • Total Threads 32
  • Max Turbo Frequency 6.00 GHz

The PassMark rating for this CPU is really high up there out of all of the LGA 1700 CPU’s. With the multithread rating being 61336 and a single thread rating of 4738. So to be honest this CPU is amazing and will get the job done.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the best CPU for performance, At home I have this CPU installed into my B550 AORUS Eite AX V3 and It works perfectly. This CPU can run almost any game at High-Ultra settings for example running some CPU intensive games like Escape From Tarkov, Far Cry 5, MW 2019 I was consistently getting over 100 frames on average on every game and on some less intensive games my frames were through the roof.

This CPU has a passmark rating of

Multithread Rating: 28306

Singlethread Rating: 3233

I believe this CPU to be the best gaming processor for the AM4 Platform If you ever want a mid-high end gaming computer I would for sure reccomend this CPU to anyone I bought mine off ebay as they have been dicontinued in manufacturing, I found mine for $380 and you can find some in the $350-$400 range maybe even lower if you have a mid-high end AM4 Platform and need a really good CPU upgrade this is the one for you

“Final Fantasy XV” is an epic action role-playing game developed by Square Enix. Set in the fictional world of Eos, it follows the journey of Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum, heir to the kingdom of Lucis, accompanied by his companions Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto. The story begins with the invasion of the kingdom of Lucis by the Niflheim Empire, resulting in the death of Noctis’s father, King Regis, and the theft of Lucis’s powerful crystal.

The AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 is a solid mid-range graphics card that should handle Final Fantasy XV quite well, especially at 1080p resolution. It offers good performance for gaming at high settings in 1080p and can even handle some games at 1440p with acceptable frame rates.

For Final Fantasy XV specifically, it should perform admirably at 1080p resolution with high settings, providing smooth gameplay with decent frame rates. However, at higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K, you may need to lower some settings to maintain playable frame rates.

Overall, the RX 580 8GB is a good choice for gaming at 1080p and can handle many modern games well, including Final Fantasy XV.tyt

Radeon RX 6600XT performance for price review

“In “Alan Wake 2,” players follow the gripping narrative of Alan Wake, a successful writer battling supernatural forces in the eerie town of Bright Falls. The sequel continues the story of Wake’s struggle against the mysterious darkness that threatens both him and the town’s inhabitants. As players navigate through atmospheric environments and engage in intense combat against shadowy foes, they unravel the truth behind the dark forces plaguing Bright Falls and discover the secrets buried within Wake’s own past. With its blend of psychological horror, thrilling gameplay, and immersive storytelling, “Alan Wake 2” promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of darkness.”(conversation had with chatgpt on april 24th 2024)

I have run this game on the minimum system requirement of a Radeon RX 6600 XT

the stats for this graphics card are as followed

    • 3 display ports
    • 1 HDMI ports
    • 32 MB infinity cache
    • 32 compute rays and ray accelerators
    • 8 GB GDDR6
    • up to 2359 MHz game clock speeds

Using this more powerful graphics card was the right decision as now it ran the game and despite being clutched onto my seat in horror I managed to love the games for it’s intense graphics it ran them all quite smoothly and the GPU didn’t get too hot either. meaning I could do other things at the same time like run Discord or run 3d printing software.

also with 16 GB GDDR6 RAM and a passmark score of 16494 it was really hard NOT to go with this GPU for its price. Made by AMD  PCIE 4.0 x16 dual fan,190 Watts power supports directX 12_2 and open GL 4.6

price is 329.99 Link
