CORSAIR Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A3000C12R Memory Review

<![CDATA[veng_pro_red_mb_x4_2_1_1_1_1
This is a review for CORSAIR Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A3000C12R DRAM. This is a very high-end memory for an intense gamer or professional use only. It would be best utilized on a gamer/professional PC. This memory is for those who want very fast memory and are fans of overclocking.
Corsair Memory is an American computer peripherals and hardware company headquartered in Fremont, California. The company was incorporated in California in January 1994 and was reincorporated in Delaware in 2007. In January 2010 the company was incorporated again in Delaware as Corsair Components, Inc. Corsair designs and sells a range of products for computers, including high-speed DRAM modules, ATX power supplies, USB flash drives, memory and case cooling solutions, computer cases, solid-state drives, and speakers. (Corsair Memory Wikipedia)
CORSAIR Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A3000C12R DRAM is DDR3, 240 pin, DIMM memory. Its speed rating is PC3-24000 (3000MHz) and its SPD Latency is 9-9-9-24. When you buy this memory, Corsair includes a fan, a Vengeance Pro heat spreader, and a lifetime warranty. They sell the Vengeance Pro in two sticks of 4GB memory, adding up to 8GB. You can find this memory on Newegg.com for $539.99.
If you’re a gamer who’s looking for some top-notch, high-quality memory, then this is the stuff for you. I’d recommend this DRAM to anyone who wants fast or just plain cool memory for their PC, although it would be best used on a high end system as opposed to a home or business PC.

Patriot Signature Memory Review

<![CDATA[Have you checked your memory lately? Are you running low (check easily at this site)? Odds are, you could use a upgrade! That’s where the Patriot signature 8 Gig sticks come in. Currently games are starting use a lot of memory and you don’t want to fall behind on the newest games! Patriot is a company located in Fremont California that has been around since 1985. Patriot Memory makes a range of memory module and flash memory products, offering a perfect blend of quality and value. Patriot products include Extreme Performance, Signature Lines, and Flash Memory solutions. (Patriot Memory)
memory
The specs of this model are:

 • žDDR3 1333 SDRAM
 • ž8Gb Capacity
 • žCAS Latency: 9
 • ž1.5 v
 • žNon-ECC
 • ž7.8US Refresh Interval (8192 CYCLES/64MS)
CAS latency is especially great for this memory. The lower the CAS latency the better! Think of the latency as a delay. For this model “9” is a really great number for the latency. It is low enough so that you will have no trouble running all those fun games.
ž
If you are thinking about getting that finishing touch for your gaming PC go ahead and pick some of this memory up! You will not regret your decision. Even if you aren’t the gaming type you can still use this memory to get your computer as fast as it can be. It can be found over on Newegg as you can see it has a respectable 4/5 eggs. Also if you are building an entire machine go ahead and check out our other review for the ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard. These two products will pair up nicely!

Intel Celeron G1620 CPU Review

<![CDATA[If you need a processor for a home or business computer this could be the CPU for you! Personally I believe that Celeron processors get a lot of flak which they don't deserve. Keep in mind this should not be used for gaming, however it is great for all sorts of business uses. This processor is made by the reliable company Intel. Intel is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Intel is the world’s largest and highest valued semiconductor chip maker. It is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. (Wikipedia)
cpu

When looking at the specs I know you will agree it’s perfect for any work assignments or home recreational uses that you might need done:

 • Clock speed: 2.7 GHz
 • Bus speed: 5 GT/s DMI

Cache:

 • L1: 2 x 32 KB instruction caches
 • L2: 2 x 256 KB
 • L3: Shared 2 MB
Cache is a very important part of the entire PC. Without any cache your home computer is significantly slower! Think of it like this: Somebody ask you a question, and you can give the answer right off the top of your head. Now they ask you a question but this time you have to look through a notebook. That is a lot slower then just using your brain. That is the difference between CPU cache and RAM memory. Cache is immediate to the CPU allowing it to finish task faster.
The CPU socket type is: Socket 1155 / H2 / LGA1155, and the CPU is dual core. (Intel)
As you can see this CPU isn’t the greatest to try and play your video games, but if all you are doing is checking email and using word this is the CPU for you! Honestly this is the best bang for your buck on those home and business systems. The price tag is a huge plus coming in at only $58.99. This is the same price as a new video game. It also has the 5 egg rating to back up the reasons for buying!

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB

<![CDATA[CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
Corsair is an American company that is located in Fremont, California. It was founded in January of 1994 by Andrew Paul, Don Lieberman, and John Beekley. They started developing the level 2 cache modules called cache on a stick. In 2002 they began shipping their products all over the world.
Corsair Vengeance

 • model- CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
 • type- 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
 • speed- DDR3 1600
 • capacity- 8gb
 • voltage- 1.5
 • dual channel
 • Cas latency- 9

This memory would be best used for gaming or if you just want to have a lot of memory. I would recommend this memory because it is high performance for such a low price. If you want to buy two of them it will cost you $92 on Newegg. If you just get one then it will probably be around $42. If you purchase this on Newegg you will receive a lifetime warranty on parts.
