I recently bought an MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE<\/strong> because I figured I’d spoil myself after my huge pay raise from work. On my free time I enjoy to play games like Minecraft, Roblox, and CSGO<\/strong>. All of my friends said:<\/p>\n

“Spoil yourself and get the best of the best for your PC \u2014 you deserve it.”<\/em><\/p>\n

So I went ahead and bought this motherboard <\/span>because I deserve the best for the money I make<\/strong>. I paid about <\/span>$900.00<\/strong> and I see <\/span>no difference<\/strong> from my old motherboard\u2026 or any difference in my gaming skills. If I\u2019m paying that kind of money, it <\/span>should make me better at the game<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

My previous motherboard was a MSI\u202fB550\u2011A\u202fPRO<\/strong> and it worked really well, but I wanted to get better at games, so I figured to get the highest-end components because I deserve the best<\/strong>. Better PC = better player, my friends always say. I always had the lowest and cheapest PC out of all my friends \u2014 I was tired of being the one with the \u2018budget\u2019 setup while everyone else flexed their rigs. I decided to change that. Now I am regretting it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I researched what the best overall motherboard was; I spent hours doing research because, honestly, I deserve the absolute best for my money<\/strong>. For the money I\u2019m paying, there\u2019s no way I should have to guess what\u2019s best. My friends said that MSI AMD was the best<\/strong>, so I asked ChatGPT<\/strong> what the best motherboard MSI offered was. I trusted AI to give me the right answer \u2014 as it should. I figured, who would dare give me bad advice when I literally asked a super-smart AI?<\/em><\/p>\n

It concluded that the MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE<\/strong> is the best motherboard. So I thought, who would know better than AI? Well\u2026 I was mistaken. Now I\u2019m stuck with this overpriced board<\/strong>, and honestly, it\u2019s not my fault I trusted everyone. Someone should have warned me \u2014 this is ridiculous.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some things that enticed me to get it were the X870E chipset<\/strong> and the promise of having the absolute best features of the AM5 lineup<\/strong>. For $900, I expected nothing less than perfect performance<\/strong> and a motherboard that would make me feel like a pro gamer instantly<\/strong>, but in all the games I played, I could tell no difference at all<\/strong>. There are way too many bright lights on this board, and it seems like they just put extra stuff on top of the basic board and changed the name.<\/p>\n

I am extremely disappointed<\/strong> \u2014 $900 for the same performance as my old B550M? This is outrageous<\/strong>; I could have bought half a PC<\/strong> for that price, and I really think I should\u2019ve stuck with my old motherboard and just upgraded other things.<\/p>\n

On top of that, I had to pay $200\u2013$250 for new RAM<\/strong>, which is ridiculous considering I already spent $900 on the motherboard. It has the same 6 SATA ports and expansion slots<\/strong> as my previous board, and honestly, the new motherboard isn\u2019t even an upgrade in any meaningful way. I see absolutely no difference<\/strong>, and this was a total waste of money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT \u2014 MSI, I AM DISAPPOINTED!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
