There are two options on how to install Remote Server Administration Tools on Windows Server 2019. But before starting, there\u2019s a thing you need to know, that is, Remote Server Administration Tools are included as optional features in Windows Server 2019 and may be deployed using the Add Roles and Features dialog in Server Manager. Therefore, a Remote Server Administration Tools\u00a0Windows Server 2019 download is not necessary.<\/p>\n

Method 1. Install the RSAT via Windows features<\/h3>\n

Step 1. Click\u00a0Start<\/strong>, then find\u00a0Server Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 2. Click\u00a0Add roles and features<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 3. In the Add Roles and Features Wizard, click\u00a0Installation Type\u00a0<\/strong>first. Then tick\u00a0Role-based or feature-based installation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 4. Click\u00a0Server Selection<\/strong>, tick\u00a0Select a server from the server pool<\/strong>, then select the server you want to install the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) on.<\/p>\n

Step 5. Click\u00a0Server Roles<\/strong>\u00a0and then\u00a0Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 6. Click\u00a0Features<\/strong>, and then check the\u00a0Remote Server Administration Tools\u00a0<\/strong>check box.<\/p>\n

Step 7. Some required supporting features such as the Web Server (IIS) role may be required. If prompted click\u00a0Add Features<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 8. On the\u00a0Web Server Role (IIS)<\/strong>\u00a0page, click\u00a0Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 9. Click\u00a0Next<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0Role Services<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n

Step 10. Click\u00a0Install<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0Confirmation\u00a0<\/strong>page.<\/p>\n

Step 11. Wait for the installation to complete.<\/p>\n

Step 12. Then you can find the RSAT tools under the\u00a0Tools\u00a0<\/strong>menu.<\/p>\n

Method 2. Install the RSAT using PowerShell<\/h3>\n

Step 1. Search for\u00a0Windows PowerShell<\/strong> in the search box and then open it.<\/p>\n

Step 2. Input the following cmdlet to install all tools:<\/p>\n

Get-WindowsCapability -Name RSAT* -Online | Add-WindowsCapability -Online<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
