Intel is an American multinational semiconductor chip maker corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.\u00a0 Known primarily to engineers and technologists, its &quot;Intel Inside&quot; advertising campaign of the 1990s made it a household name.\u00a0 <a title=\"Intel Wikipedia Article\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Intel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(Intel Wikipedia)<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.nationaltrail.k12.oh.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Intel1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-22\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress.nationaltrail.k12.oh.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Intel1-230x300.jpg\" alt=\"Intel1\" width=\"230\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intel.com\/p\/en_US\/support\/highlights\/dsktpboards\/dg33fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DG33FBC <\/a>was originally released in 2007 and uses older memory and CPUs than current motherboards.\u00a0 It is a ATX formfactor motherboard measuring 11.60 inches by 9.60 inches and supports the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPU:\u00a0 LGA775 CPU socket set supporting the Core\u21222 Quad, Core\u21222 Duo, Dual-Core, Celeron processors.<\/li>\n<li>Memory:\u00a0 Four DDR2 banks supporting 667 and 800 Mhz (Max 8Gb RAM with Max 2Gb each slot)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition it has the following <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.nationaltrail.k12.oh.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/I69-2150-out3-hl.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on-board components<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intel Graphics 3100 onboard graphics with VGA port<\/li>\n<li>6-channel (5.1) audio subsystem using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtek.com.tw\/products\/productsView.aspx?Langid=1&amp;PFid=28&amp;Level=5&amp;Conn=4&amp;ProdID=135\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Realtek* ALC888<\/a> audio codec<\/li>\n<li>12 USB 2.0 ports<\/li>\n<li>Four Serial ATA interfaces<\/li>\n<li>One Parallel ATA IDE interface with UDMA 33, ATA-66\/100\/133 support<\/li>\n<li>One diskette drive interface<\/li>\n<li>One IEEE 1394a port<\/li>\n<li>PS\/2 keyboard and mouse ports<\/li>\n<li>One serial port header<\/li>\n<li>Gigabit (10\/100\/1000 Mbits\/sec) 82566DC LAN<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expansion Slots on the Board<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three PCI Conventional bus connectors<\/li>\n<li>Three PCI Express x1 bus add-in card connector<\/li>\n<li>One PCI Express x16 bus add-in card connector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bzgqnEnVFxA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TigerDirect Review<\/a> initially lead me to the board as I was looking into older Home PC Motherboards.\u00a0 The review from users supported this product as it has 4 stars with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Newegg<\/a>.
